We have got together a fantastic lineup for the whole weekend with returning artists such as Inta Africa & Dubvocaliza. Including artists that are traveling from Somerset, London and even as far as Scotland!!
Inta Africa – High energy African drumming performances and workshops, Inta Africa’s high energy stage performance is not to be missed. With drums, bells, shakers, didgeridoo, whistles, singing and chanting it is guaranteed to have people dancing!
Dubvocaliza – Psychedelic Dub Rock , Fusion – Reggae. Dubvocaliza music is relevant and captivating with booming bass-lines , rhymes and rhythm. The music is uplifting and speaks volumes with songs that communicate a specific feeling an idea, ideal or just put you in a dancing mood. The music deals with issues that are strong, hard hitting and strikes a cord. Pulsating , debating , entertaining and questioning.
Zoe Bestel – Nu Folk/Singer-Songwriter/Acoustic Artist. “She’s destined for stardom.” ~ Toby Young, Editor The Spectator. Zoe Bestel, now 16, is a singer, songwriter and musician who, within her first year won admiration from the press, prestigious accolades and supported internationally acclaimed musicians.
The King Biscuit Boys Craig and Jonathan met up in the summer of 2011 and have been finding and arranging songs that suit their style. The King Biscuit boys are an acoustic blues duo that play originals and covers ranging from Robert Johnson to Rory Gallagher.
HazeyJane – Recently, I’ve been playing an even mix of originals and covers at local open mics and local festivals and now I’m looking to play more regular solo gigs in the Northants area whenever I can.
Real Live Owls – Twangy, a bit gloomy, inclined to waltz for no reason, songs are often about fictional Northampton types…..
Gezzi B & His Band – A Four piece band : Benjamin Mini~Hendrix on lead guitar, Mike Gascoigne on bass, Molly Tate-Kambanis on drum’s/percussion & Gezzi.B vocal’s & guitar……..Subject to other Artists coming in whenever needed!!!!! Gez has played the guitar from the age of 12/13 year’s old, He lost music for a very long time in his life, but now he’s back on it! For a long time Gez & Benji have been hitting the local open mic nights around Northampton! Earlier this year he hooked up with the guys and formed the band!
Jet Black Blues Band – The Jet Black Blues Band formed in the spring of 2014, consists of Phil Brookes on Guitar and Vocals and Richard Baker on Drums and Vocals…The pair met whilst playing with Milton Keynes based band The Imprint and quickly developed a strong musical understanding. During breaks in rehearsal they would often break out into extended funk infused, bluesy jams and it wasn’t long before they hit on the idea of exploring the possibility of forming a band. For Phil it, marks a return to his roots, a journey that has taken almost 20 years to complete taking in various styles along the way, most notably funk, soul and boogaloo and it is these influences, coupled with his own smooth blues touch, that are to the fore…
Fatbwoi – thang shakin’ zeitgiest surfin’ force of nature… social commentary via the medium of infectious groove…
Jordan Jones – Jordan Jones is a Mod Revivalist singer songwriter from Northampton. Having experience with playing in bands; Jordan is now going solo with brand new songs taking influence from Mod Revival, British Invasion, Power Pop, Blues, Heartland Rock, Soul, Jazz and Rhythm N Blues.
Dan Hughes Trio – Blues from Northampton.
Tim Brophy – Northampton Based Acoustic Artist. Having many years out of the music scene, this angry young man found his teenage angst was recently reawaken. He has hit the open mic scene with a vengeance playing a blend of heartfelt love and indie rock songs – his torch still burning bright.
Esme Eva – Northampton Based Acoustic Artist and local jam nights organizer.
